As a nutrition expert in the media, I often am asked to share my thoughts and/or experiences with certain products and/or health trends.
Rest assured, all of the opinions I share are my own, based on science-backed research, my 6+ years of nutrition education, and personal experiences.
In order to keep my little corner of the web afloat, I do work with different brands and agencies. Here are the ways in which I partner with others to support nutrition education overall!
Sponsored Posts
With brands and organizations I thoroughly believe in and the research supports, I often will collaborate on sponsored posts (like this one here on the new Dietary Guidelines for Americans with the Egg Nutrition Center.) Please note all of the reviews shared with you are not influenced by the compensation I may have received.
If I do not believe in or support a specific product or brand, I will either not review it, or I will express my opinion as to what improvements need to be made to make it registered dietitian approved.
Any post that I do receive a monetary incentive to publish will be indicated as so in a general disclaimer prior to the post.
Media + Spokesperson Work
As a nutrition expert and spokesperson, I often times work with brands to help communicate health messaging. When I do so, I will share the piece using the #sponsored or #client.
Though not every brand I mentioned is a client, some of my past and present partners include:
California Prunes
Orgain Nutrition Advisory Board Member
Soy Foods Council
The Alliance for Food & Farming
