Ingredients

canola oil

cup
chopped red onion
▢

cup
chopped snap peas
▢
1/3
cup
crushed pineapple in 100% juice
▢

tablespoon
soy sauce
▢
1/2
teaspoon
garlic powder
▢
1/4
teaspoon
ground ginger
▢
1/4
teaspoon
black pepper
▢
1/8
teaspoon
crushed red pepper flakes
▢
1/2
cup
chopped water chestnuts
▢

tablespoons
chopped roasted and salted nuts of choice
Instructions
To a nonstick skillet over medium heat, add the oil and onions.
Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
Add in the snap peas and continue to cook for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the pineapple, soy sauce and spices. Cook another 2 minutes.
Add in the water chestnuts and cook remaining 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve in desired bowl of choice.
Garnish with chopped nuts.
Notes
Add lean protein like tofu, chicken or fish for a complete meal!
